Review of: Daly 80A LiFEPo4 BMS 15S with Bluetooth and UART. CONS: 1(The MOS temp sensor is not functional, I tested this and heated up the unit with a heat gun, it always reads 10C even when the unit is too hot to touch. I don't think the temp sensing is enable in this unit. 2) the current sense is not very very accurate and does not handle the ripple current of an inverter. The current sense display on the Bluetooth app works when charging or discharging with DC current although there is a 200 mA offset. With 190 mA of current it still shows 0.0 So that will affect the SOC. The bigger problem is that when it is connected to an actual inverter (in this cas a Victron Phoenix, 48 ||1200W) the ripple current of the inverter totally messes up the current measurement. The SOC is of no good at all, since it cannot possible know what the current actually it. 3) Balance current is so low it is of no use on the 2600WHr cells I was using. I had to add a Heltec active balancer. 4) Bluetooth goes to sleep pretty fast and you must manually go over and press the pushbutton on the BT module to wake it up. 5) Only one temp sensor for cells. 6) SOC does not automatically set to 100% when cells have reached the point where the charge MOS turns off.Pros: 1) Bluetooth range is very good (over 30 foot) 2) unit is well sealed. 3) sample wires are of good quality. 4) Bluetooth app is pretty bug free. All in all it works OK but not having MOS temp protection is a deal breaker: I won't be buying any more of these.
