Put it on an outdoor rated fan and it really worked. We did need to buy an adapter at a local hardware store since the hose connector was NOT threaded for a garden hose. Maybe ours was made with the wrong connector? I don't know, but I would have given it a better rating if not for that. Also, you may want to install a garden hose filter as this clogged after the first use. There is a restricter in the hose connector that got clogged and had to be cleaned out but that was my water problem not a defect in the item.I bought several of these floor fans in different sryles and colors, for most rooms in our brand new French Chateau style home, and this one style is in my youngest daughter's bedroom. They're all generally very beautiful, and they keep the rooms much cooler. I would say they're great for at night while sleeping, because they serve as a white noise machine as well. However they are a bit noisy for during the day, when watching TV, or keeping a conversation. That's the reason I give them all a 4 star. They have no low enough option, thus a mote quiet option. Nonetheless, I LOVE them, and would buy them again!!!! ??These are so plessing to the eye but are very sturdy and heavy duty. . My last one I had for years. It was still working fine until we had a really severe wind storm and it caught it just right and tipped it over on the face side and bent a fan blade. It was the first time in probably 6 years that I've had it tip over. I keep it outside all summer in the weather and put it away in the winter. I put it together myself and it wasn't hard. It would be helpful to have another person to hold the cage when you're trying to line up the cage.This fan is beautiful and exactly what we were searching for, for our bedroom. Unfortunately the fan is way too loud for sleeping. We have since moved it out of the bedroom and into the living room, where the sound is not as bad but still pretty loud... To add to this, the first one I bought arrived broken and it was the wrong model. I returned it and repurchased it again. . When it arrived it was not damaged but still the wrong model...a different one from before. The one we received was actually the original model I wanted but Amazon said it was out of stock.... So...clearly there are problems in the packaging process.It appears to be a good quality product just be patient as it is a resin product...and there are obvious issues with supply chain and fulfillment...Beautiful Fan, I have several, but less then a month and it’s no longer Rotating. Going to contact product support. We’ll see how that goes.Got it for our porch. It's good, not great. Not super strong, somewhat louder than it should be. Instructions for assembly are garbage, but it's easy to put together. We'll see how long it lasts, but it looks nice. Would be worth it at half this price.Just fyi, it is probably best to have 2 people for assembly, as it is a heavy item and it would help to have a spare pair of hands to do screwing , clipping etc. I, too, was missing one screw & washer, but based on all the other comments I won't even try to recover them. I ordered 2. One package was opened and was missing the clips to attach it to the fan screen. It was also missing the bracket that connects the hose to the fan’s stand and one of the jets was faulty.Estéticamente el ventilador es perfecto, pero hace mucho ruido aún en la velocidad 1 que es la más baja. En velocidad 3 vibra mucho y hace todavía más ruido
